Introducing the New 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid
The 49-city-MPG* 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid has made its debut on Honda’s website! With a starting MSRP of $29,605**, the new Accord Hybrid is available in a variety of trim levels including Hybrid, EX-L and Touring. With loads of standard amenities, strong power from its 2.4L L4 engine with two-motor hybrid system and modern styling and finishes, each trim level is a true representation of hallmark Honda innovation.
From the outside, the 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid is technologically sophisticated and uniquely stylish. Bold, angular lines paired with a selection of beautifully designed wheels create a profile that’s immediately eye catching and memorable. The HondaSensing suite of safety features, including Lane Keeping Asssist Sytem (LKAS), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) and Road Departure Mitigation (RDM) is standard on all Accord Hybrid trim levels.
The new Accord Hybrid’s interior features a host of sophisticated design cues, from a color Multi-Information Display to leather accents throughout and more. Standard features include push-button start, dual-zone automatic climate control, and Homelink. Plus, EX-L and Touring trim levels feature a 360-watt sound system with subwoofer and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto capability.
Under the hood (and chassis) is a 2.4L L4 engine mated to an AC synchronous permanent-magnet electric motor and electronically-controlled Continuously Variable Transmission (E-CVT) with sport mode. Together, the engine and electric motor foster an output of 212 HP and 232 lb-ft of torque, all the while returning a 49/47/48 city/highway/combined MPG rating*. The powertrain’s industry-first two-motor hybrid system uses one motor to accelerate Accord Hybrid from a dead stop, and a second to start the engine and charge the first motor. Plus, standard remote start maximizes comfort in all types of weather conditions.
