Schomp Honda
2020 Teacher of the Year

Schomp Honda is exceedingly proud to offer this Teacher of the Year program that honors the incredible educators in our Colorado community and gives back to impact an area of education that our teachers say is needed most. Last spring, you nominated over 600 Colorado educators that made the biggest impact in your or you child’s life. Then the entire world took a pause for a moment, but now it’s time to vote on the top five teachers that, with the help of the community, we’ve identified to be very best the education system has to offer. The teacher that receives the most of your votes will be awarded a brand-new Honda Passport as well as $5,000 to support the cause of their choice. Please review the nominees below and cast your vote for Teacher of the Year by September 28, 2020.

Honda Power of Dreams

American Honda understands the true measure of a company isn’t measured just on great products but the impact that company has on society. Honda is committed to making a difference in ways that extend far behind its assembly lines. Schomp’s alignment with this philosophy by supporting education is evident in our 79-year history.

Honda Funds Eagle Rock School.

The American Honda Motor Co., Inc. founded and funded Eagle Rock School in Estes Park, Colorado, which opened its doors in 1993 with a mission to help the most disengaged students find their way back to an appreciation of education. Today, Eagle Rock provides a unique learning environment and supports the lives of young people by promoting community, integrity and citizenship. In addition, Eagle Rock’s Professional Development Center (PDC) works with educators from around the country to make their high schools centers of engagement and learning.
