Car care and maintenance can be rather mysterious to many people. The Service Techs at Schomp Honda are here to help demystify this process. Check out our series of videos explaining the processes for many common services and when Honda recommends having those services performed.
Oil Change - Every 3,750 - 5,000 miles depending on year model. (Check Oil Life Percentage to be sure)
A/C Service - As needed, varies per vehicle, depending on leaks.
Alignment - Every 15K miles or when new tires are mounted.
Brake Flush - Every 3 years.
Coolant Flush - Every 7 years.
Rear Differential - Every 30K miles.
Transmission - Every 30K miles.
Air Filter - Every 30K miles.
B1 Service - Every 10K miles.
Battery Service - As needed, varies per vehicle and per battery.
Drive Belt - Every 7 years or as needed per cracks in belt.
Please note: The recommended intervals for having these services performed are suggestions from Honda and may not meet the demands of each driver or vehicle. Maintenance services may need to be performed more or less frequently than the Honda suggested intervals depending on individual driving habits/style, amount of mileage driven per year, the terrain in which the vehicle is driven, etc. See a Service Advisor for details or questions.
