Honda CR-Z: "The Fun to Drive Hybrid"
On a perfect date night, you head up to a concert on the Rocks at Red Rocks; you zip up the foothills while showing off your environmentally responsible side. This isn't your ordinary hybrid; it's the all new 2011 Honda CR-Z.
With only two doors and two seats, it's the hybrid that is actually fun to drive. For those old enough to remember, the 2011 Honda CR-Z will bring back memories of the old Honda CRX. But that's where the comparison ends.
Loaded with the latest hybrid technology, the 2011 Honda CR-Z isn't just the latest hybrid gimmick. A full 12 inches shorter, slightly wider and less overall height than a Civic, the new CR-Z is a very nimble, quick car that may actually make you forget it's a hybrid.
So after the concert, if you want to drive Turkey Creek Canyon and its twisting, turning curves, the 2011 Honda CR-Z will get you there, while having fun doing it. With its small size and quick steering, the 2011 Honda CR-Z welcomes all roads, curvy or otherwise.
HONDA CR-Z EVERYTHING A HYBRID IS. AND ISN'T.
Honda has taken an unlikely pair - hybrid technology and spirited performance - and united them in the first sport hybrid, the all-new 2011 Honda CR-Z. Balancing fun and functionality, the CR-Z does everything you'd expect, and more than a few things you wouldn't.

ADDED FEATURES STANDARD
Available in three trim levels, the 2011 Honda CR-Z comes packed, no matter which one you choose. The base model CR-Z comes with full power accessories, cruise control, automatic climate control and six speaker CD audio system with steering wheel controls.
For the ever changing Colorado terrain, you may want to consider an EX model, which will get you upgrades including: Xenon headlights, fog lights, heated side mirrors, metallic interior trim, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, Bluetooth and a seven-speaker premium audio system.
Not to be forgotten, the Honda CR-Z provides sports car enthusiasts with a six speed manual transmission but an automatic transmission with paddle shifters is also available as an option.
SAFETY
As with all 2011 Hondas, standard safety equipment includes antilock brakes, stability and traction control, front seat side airbags, side curtain airbags and active head restraints.
Another advantage of only two seats, you will never be carpooling in this car. With the back shelf down, the CR-Z has 25.1 feet of cubic space in the back. It's big enough to hold two golf bags.
THE ULTIMATE GREEN CAR
Honda engineers had fun with creating a way to show whether the CR-Z was being driven efficiently. The display color of the dashboard controls will change depending on how you are driving. It will stay green as long as your are driving efficiently.
The dashboard light will change to blue when you aren't maximizing fuel economy. Then, when you switch the car to sport mode, the dash turns red. For the experience of a sports car, switch to sport mode, then it has the feel of sports cars of old. Switch to econ mode for a more traditional hybrid feel.
So as you race through Turkey Creek Canyon, you will have the choice to show off your environmental side or your sleek sports car, depending of course, on what band was playing at Red Rocks tonight.
